For a Valentine’s Day to remember, join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for this glorious matinee concert that will immerse you in the drama and passion of the wondrous world of opera.

Featuring well-known arias, overtures and duets from much-loved operas, including: Mozart’s Così fan tutte and The Marriage of Figaro, Mascagni’s Cavalleria rusticana, Handel’s Rodelinda, Dvořák’s Rusalka, Rossini’s La scala di seta, Verdi’s La traviata and Lehár’s Giuditta, as well as mesmerising musical moments by Morricone, Elgar, Rachmaninov and more.

For your safety, and in adherence with current social distancing regulations, this concert will now be approximately 75 minutes in length (with no interval), and will feature conductor Ben Glassberg and virtuoso soprano Gemma Summerfield – accompanied by a smaller-scale orchestra – to enable appropriate spacing on the stage for our musicians. The seating capacity for the audience will also be reduced, with social distancing in place, to ensure all customers have a safe and enjoyable concert experience.

Duration: approx. 75 minutes (no interval)
