One of the UK’s most cherished vocal ensembles, The Kingdom Choir performs a special one-off Christmas concert. This festive event will feature the internationally acclaimed choir performing beloved Christmas classics with its signature flair, promising an evening of joyous celebration that will have audiences clapping, stomping, and dancing to usher in the holiday season.

This announcement comes on the heels of The Kingdom Choir’s remarkable 30th-anniversary celebrations which included sold-out performances at Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Barbican, further solidifying their status as one of the UK’s most successful choirs.

Over the years, The Kingdom Choir has amassed an impressive list of achievements, including performing alongside Barbara Streisand at British Summer Time in Hyde Park, opening a Major League Baseball game, and headlining tours across the UK, US, and Australia. They gained international fame with their unforgettable performance of ‘Stand By Me’ at the Royal Wedding of Harry and Meghan in May 2018, which led to a major record deal with Sony Music UK and the release of their debut album, Stand By Me, featuring their celebrated rendition of ‘Stand By Me’ which soared to Number 1 on the Billboard Gospel Songs Chart and captures the joy and spiritual essence that defines all their performances.

Hailing from London, The Kingdom Choir draws inspiration from a variety of Christian traditions, creating a sound that reflects the warmth and community spirit of its members. Its vibrant energy and passionate performances, under the direction of Karen Gibson – who was honoured with an MBE in 2020 for her contributions to music – have captivated audiences worldwide. The Choir has graced some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including sold-out concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, the Royal Albert Hall, and the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in Sydney.
