Aprile Millo in Concert
As part of the London Bel Canto Festival Legendary Metropolitan Opera soprano Aprile Millo presents her London solo recital debut featuring an eclectic mix of songs and arias from around the world including Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Cilea and many more.
She will perform a selection of Rachmaninov in honour of Dmitri Hvorostovsky. In October Mme Millo will once again be performing the title role of Adriana Lecouvreur, this time in at the Teatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro, and will offer us a preview by performing a selection from the beloved opera.
Mme Millo is generously giving this concert in honour of her great friends who have recently passed: Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Dott. ssa Simonetta Puccini, Princess Verne Of Rajpipla and the Princess’ daughter Leslie O’Hara.
25% of the proceeds of this concert will be donated to the Cancer Research UK in memory of Dmitri Hvorostovsky and to the Royal Marsden NHSFoundation Trust in memory of Princess Verne Of Rajpipla.

Most events last 2 – 2½ hours, evening events generally finishing no later than 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9pm on Sundays.
