British vocal ensemble the Marian Consort makes its Proms debut with a concert celebrating Renaissance master Josquin des Prez 500 years after his death. In a season of musical borrowings, three of Josquin’s greatest motets, all drawing on pre-existing material, are paired with three musical homages – including the kaleidoscopic Inviolata, integra et casta es by the first published black composer, Vicente Lusitano – that each reworks Josquin’s own music for a new age.

Duration: approx. 1 hour (no interval)

These events are not socially distanced

With the lifting of Covid restrictions by the government on 19 July, the BBC Proms concerts are full-capacity events. As a result, there will be no social distancing for the Proms concerts taking place at Cadogan Hall. This means you may have other audience members sitting next to you.

The BBC Proms have asked that we use Covid certification for audience members to gain entry to Cadogan Hall for the Proms concerts. As such, you will need to show us a valid NHS Covid Pass. This is achieved when you have one of the following, and have registered it with the NHS:

  • evidence of a negative lateral flow test, either taken at home or at a test centre, within 48 hours of the performance
  • evidence of double vaccination provided via the NHS App or letter provided by the NHS
  • proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test taken within 180 days of the performance

Those under the age of 18 should have verbal confirmation from a parent or guardian that they have not received a positive test.

We also ask that all customers wear a mask when visiting Cadogan Hall.

If you have any questions or concerns about the above, please call our box office on 020 7730 4500.
