Following the huge critical acclaim of their album, Piazzolla and Beyond, London Concertante once again explores the theme of tango. Alongside its interpretation of Vivaldi’s stunning music, and as part of their groundbreaking new project, Tango Vivaldi, the ensemble develops the strong beats, dreamy slow movements, and sudden changes of texture of both Vivaldi and tango to create a rhythmical, powerful, hot-blooded and dynamic new sound in new arrangements and compositions by composer, David Gordon.
