London Suzuki Group
Violin, viola and cello students from the London Suzuki Group perform a range of classical pieces in group performances. String performers aged from 4 to 18 years perform works chosen from Handel, Bach, Bohm, Vivaldi and Bartók among others, in groups according to their level. The concert ends with all levels performing together.
The London Suzuki Group was founded in 1972 and was the first group in the United Kingdom to teach music by the Suzuki method. With 60 teachers and over 600 students, the Group runs individual and group classes, orchestral and chamber music courses, workshops and an annual residential summer course. Public and private concerts are regularly organised at London venues such as Cadogan Hall and Milton Court Concert Hall.
