Two environment-focused concerts in aid of conservation charity Ocean Generation.

The concerts include Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending; Ocean Drifters: a secret world beneath the waves – a short film narrated by Sir David Attenborough with Dr Richard Kirby’s plankton imagery and live orchestral score; the world premiere of a specially commissioned piece by natural history composer Richard Grassby-Lewis; and a talk on the vital role the ocean plays in the health of our planet by Jo Ruxton MBE, founder of Ocean Generation.

The concerts will be conducted by Geoffrey Boyd, the ‘conservation conductor’.

Not only will you hear some wonderful music, but you will also Learn about the Ocean, Connect with the Sea, and Protect our Planet!

Please note: the 14 October 6pm event is family-friendly.

Please do not call the Box Office as they do not have any further information than that currently on our website. Most events last 2 – 2½ hours, evening events generally finishing no later than 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9pm on Sundays.
