The Blow Monkeys perform a very special ‘Career Retrospective’ concert with special guests Peter Capaldi, Mick Talbot and Rhoda Dakar.

In a setting usually reserved for such luminaries as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra or masterworks such as Handel’s Messiah, Dr Robert and the band will showcase over 40 years of music. 25 albums – both band and solo – that stretch from their first ‘indie’ single in 1981 all the way through to the latest album Together Alone (2024).

Stand by for some surprises too.

Dr Robert says, “Down the years it has been an honour to work with some very special musicians. The late great Curtis Mayfield was like a mentor to the band and we’ve carried on that tradition of collaboration all along the journey… working with artists such as Cheb Khaled, Kym Maselle, Paul Weller, Rhoda Dakar,Peter Capaldi, PP Arnold and even Eek- A-Mouse! You just never know who might turn up on the night!”

This is a night not to be missed, from a set of musicians at the height of their powers. Expect the unexpected!
