The English Chamber Orchestra performs a special gala concert in aid of NHS Charities Together, and the British Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, sponsored by The Barratt Foundation.
The Barratt Foundation has supported the English Chamber Orchestra’s Close Encounters programme throughout the year, helping the orchestra reach out to young people across the country.
This wonderful programme of classics includes the premiere of British composer Howard Goodall’s new work The Ordinary Heroes of Postman’s Park, Benjamin Britten’s Building of the House and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, the ‘Pastoral’.
The English Chamber Orchestra is joined by soloist Katharina Kang Litton and conductor Andrew Litton for this performance.
The ECO is delighted to be presenting this special gala concert and all ticket income for this performance will be donated by the Barratt Foundation to NHS charities Together and the British Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
