Already making waves on the London jazz vocal scene, Lulu Pierre has proved herself to be a classic Torch Song stylist with the sass of Nancy Wilson and the swing of Sarah Vaughan – and a knack for heartbreaking ballads too. A striking and chic figure on stage, Lulu has a rich mezzo-soprano capable of conveying deep emotion one moment and swinging hard the next.  With her pianist Alex Webb and Tony Kofi she has played Hampstead Jazz Club, the Oriole Bar, Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec, Crazy Coqs, Piano Smithfield, the Pheasantry and other venues, honing a tight, grooving jazz vocal act accessible to general listeners and jazz purists alike.

Tony Kofi is a multi-reeds player, comfortable on alto, tenor and baritone saxes and has won numerous awards over the years. Since 2018 he has fronted a successful tribute project to Julian ‘Cannonball’ Adderley as well as guesting with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, and appearing with his own various band projects.

Alex Webb is a pianist, arranger and songwriter with a long history of working with leading jazz vocalists. His songs have been recorded by Liane Carroll, China Moses, Jo Harrop, Allan Harris, Cherise, Ayanna Witter-Johnson and many others.
