London Concertante celebrates Christmas with a host of wonderful Viennese music, including works by the ‘King of Waltzes’ Johann Strauss II, including his masterpiece, the Blue Danube Waltz. Also on the programme are Tchaikovsky’s perennial favourite, The Nutcracker Suite, and Schubert’s delightful and youthful Rondo for violin and strings, performed by rising star and Scottish fiddle sensation Ben Norris.
