Trumpeter, producer, and bandleader Louis Dowdeswell launches his new album, Out of Print: classical music reimagined for big band and symphonic brass by acclaimed arranger Callum Au.

For one night only, 30 of the world’s finest musicians perform the album in full: Danse Macabre, Mars from The Planets, Pictures at an Exhibition, Clair de Lune, Nimrod, William Tell, Ride of the Valkyries, Jerusalem, Nessun Dorma and Carmen. The line between classical and jazz blurs across the evening, with pieces you’ve heard your whole life scored in a way you’ve never imagined. Where you’d expect strings, you get screaming trumpets. Where you’d expect stillness, you get a groove.
