The Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra continue their season at Cadogan Hall with conductor James Blair and an evening of music by Rossini, Rachmaninoff and Sibelius.

The concert begins with Rossini’s The Thieving Magpie Overture, a sparkling work renowned for its infectious energy.

Pianist Zvjezdan Vojvodić then joins the orchestra for Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3. One of the most formidable works in the piano repertoire, the concerto combines breathtaking virtuosity with moments of great emotional intensity.

The evening concludes with Sibelius’ Symphony No. 5, where the composer creates a compelling journey that builds towards one of the most memorable conclusions in the symphonic repertoire.
