In world premiere performances, the music of Secret Garden – the award-winning duo of Norway’s Rolf Løvland and Ireland’s Fionnuala Sherry – is reimagined for the glory and wonder of a full symphony orchestra.

Presented and curated by Løvland and Sherry, we journey through timeless original music – from ‘Nocturne’, the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest-winning song, through to ‘Song from a Secret Garden’ and the contemporary music classic ‘You Raise Me Up’, thought to be the most covered song of the century.

Popular classics from Norway and Ireland complete the evening’s programme.

“There are moments in life when familiar things reveal themselves in an entirely new way,” say Rolf and Fionnuala. “For more than 30 years, these melodies have been at the heart of our musical lives. Now, new colours emerge, hidden details appear, and melodies we have lived with for decades seem to tell their stories in fresh and unexpected ways.”
