But there’s still nothing to beat the sensation of hearing these four ever-fresh concertos performed live – and feeling all that energy at first hand.

Stephanie Gonley is a professor of violin at the Guildhall School of Music and has been leader of the English Chamber Orchestra for over 20 years, directing and appearing as soloist with them throughout the world. She has appeared as soloist with most of the leading British orchestras, as well as many abroad.
