An Evening of Musical Stories celebrates the 90th anniversary of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf in a gala concert supporting Brass for Africa – the charity transforming young lives through music in Uganda, Rwanda, and Liberia.

Actor Hugh Bonneville* narrates this much-loved tale, bringing its characters to life with warmth, wit, and storytelling flair. The piece is conducted by Gabriel Prokofiev, the composer’s grandson, offering a unique personal connection to this timeless work.

The London Musici, under Mark Stephenson, also performs Prokofiev’s effervescent Classical Symphony, brimming with elegance and charm.

Distinguished baritone Patrick Dow joins the programme, bringing expressive artistry and a fresh contemporary voice. Musicians from Brass for Africa share joyful musical stories, highlighting music’s power to inspire and uplift communities.
