The British Theatre Academy presents a new production of Jason Robert Brown’s 13, featuring the next generation of musical theatre in the UK.
12-year-old New Yorker Evan Goldman is getting ready to turn 13 and has big plans for his Bar Mitzvah. His life is suddenly flipped upside down when a parental divorce means his Mom moves to rural Indiana, meaning Evan has weeks to settle into a new town, new school and make enough friends for the perfect Bar Mitzvah.
Featuring songs such as ‘The Lamest Place In The World’, ‘A Little More Homework’ and ‘A Brand New You’ (which helped launch the career of Ariana Grande), 13 is a family-friendly, fun musical with a lot of charm, wit and heart.
