40 years after ‘Shattered Dreams’ became a global hit, Johnny Hates Jazz celebrate with an evening of unforgettable songs and the stories behind them.

Clark Datchler and Mike Nocito bring The Shattered Dreams Tour to Cadogan Hall, drawing on four decades of music for an uplifting live show. Their distinctive songwriting and polished pop sound produced some of the late 1980s’ best-loved hits, including ‘I Don’t Want to Be a Hero’, ‘Turn Back the Clock’, ‘Heart of Gold’ and ‘Don’t Say It’s Love’.

Their debut album, Turn Back the Clock, entered the UK charts at No. 1 in 1988, while ‘Shattered Dreams’ reached No. 2 in the US. Since reuniting in 2010, the duo have continued to write and record, releasing Magnetized and Wide Awake and bringing their music to audiences around the world.

Now, following a sell-out UK headline tour in 2024, they mark this special anniversary with a new show celebrating the songs that first brought them together with listeners – and the music they’ve made along the way.

The tour is accompanied by Shattered Dreams, a new compilation spanning their career from the late 1980s to the present.

Early booking recommended.
