This show from Geoff Simkins Trio will be an afternoon of interactive jazz by a very fine trio exuding class, taste and experience. Expect lyrical improvisation, great interplay and a mix of beautifully played standards plus some original compositions by three of Britain’s finest musicians – Geoff Simkins on sax, Nikki Iles on piano, and Dave Green on bass. It is not surprising that there is a meeting of musical minds in this trio. They will be playing material from their latest release, In a Quiet Way, out now on Symbol Records.
