For its Cadogan Hall debut, London City Orchestra is thrilled to present a night of imagination, storytelling, and reflection as part of its biannual gala concert series.

Under the batons of Musical Director Thomas Payne (ex-Jette Parker Young Artist at the Royal Opera House) and Guest Conductor Philip Keller, the London City Orchestra shares an evening of magical music. Prepare to be swept along by Rachmaninov’s Isle of the Dead and dazzled by tales of the East as portrayed in Rimsky-Korsakov’s much-loved Scheherazade.

Joining the Orchestra is the wonderfully charismatic soprano Nadine Benjamin MBE. Following her many breathtaking performances in recent years, she will no doubt inspire us all with her rendition of Strauss’ Four Last Songs, the composer’s heavenly swansong.

Duration: approx. 2 hours (incl. interval)
