Join the young and dynamic Orion Orchestra for a vibrant evening of Mozart, Gershwin, and Bernstein led by dazzling soloists Danny Koo (violin) and Meghan Cassidy (viola).
The programme includes the brilliance of Gershwin’s Cuban Overture, a vibrant orchestral piece inspired by a trip to Havana, Cuba, in 1932.
At its heart lies Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante in E flat major, a masterpiece of dialogue between violin and viola that showcases elegance and warmth in perfect balance.
Adding a rich tapestry of sound is Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess: Symphonic Fantasy, where lush orchestral colour meets the soul of jazz and blues.
A joyful celebration of melody, movement, and musical storytelling – from the concert halls of Vienna to the streets of Broadway.
