Lana Shelley is a singer and songwriter who’s been performing the songs she grew up with by her heroes who performed them – Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn, to name a few – for more than 20 years across London and beyond.
She’s been playing with Tom and Paul since they met as teenagers in the Sixth Form. They all also perform regularly with their own bands, the styles of which blend jazz, blues, country and rock ’n’ roll. Lana’s writing draws insipiration from the sounds and tones of the past, the romance and rawness of old-time swing and blues.
For Out To Lunch, her trio will perform a mix of vintage and original swing and blues.
