Sue Richardson is an unusual combination of jazz trumpeter and vocalist who also writes and arranges much of her own material. She has played with the Humphrey Lyttelton Band and was honoured to play at his memorial concert at the Hammersmith Apollo. Sue is part of the acclaimed show ‘Cafe Society’, featuring a six-piece band live on stage, and she also features in a cabaret-style celebration of the music of Billie Holiday.

Sue’s show ‘Too Cool’, a tribute to the late Chet Baker, has had rave reviews. It features not only Chet’s most popular hits but also some of his own little-known compositions as well as some music written specially for the show by Sue. Her narration brings Chet’s story alive and gives audiences a rare glimpse into the troubled life of this musician.

Duration: 2 hours (incl. interval)
