Rachael Cohen is highly regarded as one the leading saxophonists on the London Jazz scene, working with a huge variety of musicians from all corners of the globe – from Heidi Vogel, Reuben James and Mark Kavuma to touring with the New York supergroup ARTEMIS.
She holds a long-standing residency at the world-famous Ronnie Scott’s and has been listed two years in a row as a rising star by the critics poll in Downbeat magazine.
Here she presents a quartet of players that are fast becoming stars in their own right. Artie Zaitz on guitar (Moyses Boyd, Jordan Rakei, Banger Factory), Joe Downard on bass (Waaju, Andrew McCormak) and Kai Macrae on drums (Stan Sultzman, Sultan Stevenson). Together they will delve into a set of Rachael’s own compositions and arrangements – a performance not to be missed.
