The Four Seasons is one of the most celebrated pieces of classical music ever written and remains as popular today as when it was first performed. The verve and virtuosity of the 18th century is brought to life in this enchanting concert staged in an elegant candle-lit style setting with an evocative programme crowned by Vivaldi’s sublime masterpiece.
The Mozart Festival Orchestra also perform timeless classics including Charpentier’s Prélude from Te Deum, Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins in D minor and Handel’s ‘Rejoice Greatly’ from Messiah and ‘Let the Bright Seraphim’ from Samson.
