The Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra ends its 2025-26 season at Cadogan Hall in style, with an evening of art and romance.

The concert opens with Berlioz’s Hungarian March, a spirited piece derived from a popular folk tune that was originally part of his dramatic legend, The Damnation of Faust.

Pianist Radu-Gabriel Stoica is the soloist for Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2, an emotional tour-de-force which needs no introduction.

To end the evening, the Orchestra performs Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. Each movement, masterfully orchestrated by Ravel, depicts a different scene or portrait, ranging from a bustling market to the Great Gates of Kiev.

Duration: approx. 1 hour 50 mins (incl. interval)
