Cadogan Hall welcomes back the Bruckner Orchester Linz, which for this visit, brings Mahler’s epic Second Symphony – a work that explores the depths of human emotion and ends with a powerful hymn to transcendent renewal, culminating in a heart-stirring and divine choral finale for which the orchestra is joined by Bournemouth Symphony Chorus.
This is the first time an international orchestra has performed Mahler’s Second Symphony at Cadogan Hall, and as Mahler said of his most enduringly popular work: “You are clubbed to the ground and then lifted to the highest heights on angels’ wings.”
Early booking is recommended for what will undoubtedly be a heart-stopping concert.
