Cadogan Hall is delighted to welcome back the CNSO, one of the most popular orchestras in Europe, for two concerts featuring two of Schubert’s most lyrical symphonies, Beethoven’s iconic Fourth and Fifth Piano Concertos, and Dvořák’s much-loved Seventh and Ninth Symphonies.
Since becoming Prize Laureate of the Honens Prize for Piano in 2012 and becoming one of BBC Radio 3’s New Generation Artists young pianist Pavel Kolesnikov has performed around the world.
We regret to announce that the originally advertised conductor, Petr Altrichter, has had to withdraw from this concert due to ill health. We are delighted that Ben Palmer has agreed to take his place this evening.
The second CNSO concert is on Wednesday 18 April, with soloist Barry Douglas.
