Royal Philharmonic Orchestra: Seeking New Horizons
Following on from the success of last season’s Myths and Fairytales series, the RPO’s dynamic Principal Associate Conductor Alexander Shelley embarks on this thought-provoking new series. Through the music of Rachmaninov, Dvořák, Bartok and de Falla, Alexander takes us on a curated musical journey, exploring the lives of these composers who, by choice, fear or political protest, left their homeland and the effect this had on their music.
