Tuvayhun: Beatitudes for a Wounded World is a multi-movement work for choir, soloists, and orchestra by the gifted young Norwegian composer Kim André Arnesen.
With libretto by the American poet Anthony Silvestri, Tuvayhun explores themes of inclusion, trust, compassion, humanity, and mutual respect.
The music reflects these poetic themes by incorporating elements of classical, jazz, and world music idioms, including the addition of hammered dulcimer to the orchestra.
The composer will be in attendance for this UK premiere.
Please note start time.
Duration: approx. 2 hours 15 mins (incl. interval)
