The Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines
Seafarers UK, the leading maritime charity presents an evening of wonderful entertainment provided by the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth, conducted by Principal Director of Music Lieutenant Colonel Nick Grace RM OBE and hosted by Classic FM’s John Suchet and featuring mezzo-soprano Danielle Louise Thomas.
The concert is part of the charity’s annual fundraising season of concerts with the Royal Marines Band and this year celebrates the Centenary of Seafarers UK. The popularity and following of the Royal Marines Band is as strong as ever and we look forward to providing our audience with a diverse and enjoyable programme of music.
Seafarers UK raises thousands of pounds each year for those in need in the maritime world, which includes the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, the Merchant Navy and the Fishing Fleets. Money raised is given as grants to charities related to the above. In 2016 grants amounted to £2.5m to 94 charities. Visit www.seafarers-uk.org for further information.

Most events last 2 – 2½ hours, evening events generally finishing no later than 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9pm on Sundays.
