Following his critically-acclaimed late night Prom with VOCES8 at the Royal Albert Hall in 2023, Ola Gjeilo is delighted to return to the London stage for this inspiring collaboration at Cadogan Hall.

A sublime Norwegian-themed programme of Ola’s choral music features an opening performance by the outstanding choir from Glen Cove High School in New York, before Irene Messoloras leads a festival choir performance for Vox Anima London with Ola at the piano.

Requiem for Colour by Jeffery Ames is a tribute to Black ancestry, recognising the sorrows and joys of a race that has fought for freedom with reverence and dignity while celebrating the beauty of its fascinating ‘colourfulness’. Jeffery Ames conducts Vox Anima London Singers and Orchestra in this powerful testimony to history and heritage.
