Join Thames Philharmonic Choir and an exciting cast of soloists for an unforgettable evening with Mendelssohn’s best-loved oratorio, Elijah. Centred on an intensely dramatic narrative and intensified by Mendelssohn’s spectacular orchestral colour, rousing choruses, and beautiful solo movements, Elijah remains as popular today as it was with the first audiences nearly two hundred years ago.
Led by Harry Bradford, a prize-winning conductor and choral director, Thames Philharmonic Choir is a vibrant and musically ambitious amateur choir based in Southwest London. Joining the Choir is the Beaufoy Sinfonia, many of whose players are recent graduates of the major London conservatories, as well as a team of exciting young soloists.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes (incl. interval)
