After entertaining millions of people online and packing out theatres across the country with Absolute Filth, Tom returns to Cadogan Hall for An Absolutely Filthy Christmas, a one-off festive special, bringing his trademark energy, humour, special guests and some suitably questionable bottles of Christmas plonk with him.

Tom Gilbey is an award-winning wine expert, marathon-runner and author, with a career that has seen him taste, sell, spill and celebrate wine for over 30 years. He first caught the wine bug as a child, roaming around his grandfather’s château in Bordeaux, and by 23 he was already making the stuff himself. Since then, he’s done just about everything in wine – from winemaker to merchant to accidental social media sensation.

Tom’s mission has always been simple: to get people drinking better wine without needing to remortgage their house. After being shoved into an ice bath by his son Fred (to prove just how cold white wine should be), Tom stumbled into viral fame. His videos, demonstrating equal parts passion, humour and common sense, have since been watched hundreds of millions of times, with his online audience now numbering more than one million people worldwide.

In autumn 2026, Tom took that same approach out of his phone and onto the stage with Absolute Filth, his first UK and Ireland theatre tour. Across 12 sold-out shows, thousands joined Tom and Fred for wine, games, stories and general mayhem.

Now they’re doing it all again.
