Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a 30-minute pre-concert chamber event within the intimate surrounding of Cadogan Hall, performed by key members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
This special concert opens with Mozart’s delightful Oboe Quartet in F, a piece well-known for its meditative aria-like Adagio movement pitted against the unbridled virtuosic finale of the closing Rondo.
Benjamin Britten adored writing for the oboe, and tonight the Orchestra’s Principal Oboe, John Roberts, takes to the stage to perform the thrilling Phantasy Quartet.
