Kensington Prep School’s acclaimed Summer Concert will include performances from the 115-member School orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra and String Orchestra as well as the three school choirs, including the Senior Choir who have just returned from a successful Hungarian music tour, where they gave four concerts in Budapest and Kecskémet.

The Summer Concert programme will include folk songs from around the world, orchestral music by Elgar, Vaughan Williams and the ever popular Jonah Man Jazz by Michael Hurd.

Kensington Prep School in Fulham is well known for its musical as well as academic excellence. Ninety-seven percent of pupils learn a musical instrument (tuition in almost every instrument offered) and girls regularly achieve music scholarships to senior schools including City of London, Godolphin and Latymer, Putney High and Wycombe Abbey.

This year a record-breaking total of 32 senior school scholarships were awarded to girls with 17 academic awards, 14 for music and 1 for art.
