French violinist Virgil Boutellis-Taft performs Vitali’s Chaconne, a popular showpiece for violinists, and Tchaikovsky’s brooding Sérénade mélancolique, a work full of deep emotion. Mendelssohn, Brahms and Umebayashi complete the programme.
