In light of newly announced restrictions for November, we have sadly had to postpone ‘A Christmas Carol: A Musical Retelling’ on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 December to a future date.
The new date will be published on this page and we will update on sale dates accordingly.
With the full support of the artists and producers, we are doing our utmost to support the national effort in reducing the spread of coronavirus and the health and well-being of all our visitors, staff members, and visiting performers is our number one priority.
Thank you for continued support and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
A ghost story unlike any other. A joyous festive celebration.
Traditional carols with a twist of jazz accompany Dickens’s words in this concert staging of Will Todd and David Simpatico’s A Christmas Carol: A Musical Retelling, directed by Martin Duncan.
Eight of Opera Holland Park’s regular principal singers share the roles of the ghosts and figures from Scrooge’s life, accompanied by piano, double bass, accordion and the chime of handbells.
This fresh telling of Scrooge’s redemption from greed and loneliness brings all the spookiness, heartbreak and uplifting warmth you’d expect from Dickens’s legendary Christmas ghost story.
With generous support from Fiona and Andrew Brannon.
