English National Ballet School
Join English National Ballet School, one of the world’s leading ballet schools, for a spellbinding, family-friendly morning of dance, as its exceptional young artists perform a selection of traditional highlights, culminating in the passionate and powerful El Cid.
A classical piece with a touch of Spanish flair, El Cid draws inspiration from the legendary Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, a Castilian nobleman and military leader in medieval Spain. This neo-classical work combines the elegance and precision of classical ballet with the colour, rhythm, and vitality of traditional Spanish dance.
ENBS’ talented Level 2 students bring to life Lynne Charles’ choreography, set to the evocative music of Jules Massenet.
Experience the artistry, passion, and skill of the next generation of ballet talent.
Please note, this performance is family-friendly and open to all ages.
