GCU celebrates 50 years with Brian Wright.

No great composer’s last work has been more surrounded by myth and legend than Mozart’s magnificent Requiem. It has intrigued and moved audiences from its first performances and includes some of his most profound music.

Tonight’s concert is given by top London choir Goldsmiths Choral Union along with the authentic instrumentalists of Musicians of London and a quartet of well-known soloists.

It also includes two of the finest of Mozart’s other late choral works, the well-loved motet Ave verum corpus and the delightful Vespers, which includes his famous setting of Laudate Dominum.

Duration: approx. 2 hours (incl. 20-minute interval)
