Pianist/composer Kate Williams has gained a reputation as both a distinctive writer and performer. She has released several CDs, each one to critical acclaim, including Made Up and Atlas and Vulcana (with her septet) and Smoke and Mirrors (with tenor saxophonist, the late Bobby Wellins).

In 2020 she won the Parliamentary Jazz Award for album of the year for Finding Home, a collaboration between her band Four Plus Three and vocalist Georgia Mancio. Her latest CD On the Wing of a Dragonfly is released in May 2026, and today’s performance features material from the new album as well as some choice jazz standards.

“Immensely likeable music…distinctive and wholehearted, the trio as one” ★★★★ Jazzwise (Editor’s Choice)

“Crisp, incisive and totally at one with the rhythmic ebb and flow… Williams has a quality rare among jazz composers: a musical vocabulary that’s all her own” ★★★★ The Observer

Oli Hayhurst is one of London’s top bass players having worked with artists including Pharaoh Saunders, Jacqui Dankworth, Julian Siegel, Georgia Mancio, Alan Broadbent, Ian Shaw and many more.

David Ingamells has established himself as one of the most versatile jazz drummers of his generation. He performs regularly at all the major jazz clubs in the UK, such as Ronnie Scott’s, the Vortex, the 606, Cafe Oto, and Pizza Express Live, as well as concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre and Cadogan Hall.
